Duties

Serves as principal and subject matter expert General Services Office (GSO) Assistant to the General Services Officers. Responsible for assisting, coordinating and planning GSO functions of Property & Supply, Motor Pool, Shipping & Customs, Housing, Procurement, and Travel operations in order to serve customers of all ICASS agencies at post. The incumbent is required to administer important initiatives and work independently with minimal supervision. The incumbent will provide guidance and support to various GSO units.

EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of two years experience in customer service, management, inventory preparation, and/or execution of audits is required.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Qatar – Salary will be commensurate with qualifications; excellent working conditions; competitive pay, premier medical insurance coverage for employee and family, 20 holidays per year (American and Local), mid-year and year-end bonuses; retirement plan, competitive housing and transportation allowance and education allowance.  The U.S. Embassy in Doha also offers great career and personal development training opportunities for selected candidate.For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

HIRING PREFERENCE SELECTION PROCESS:  Applicants in the following hiring preference categories are extended a hiring preference in the order listed below.  Therefore, it is essential that these applicants accurately describe their status on the application.
