The A Side: A Day in The Life
The core business of Universal Music MENA is the production and Management of domestic artists and the servicing of our local repertoire to all available digital service providers in the region. As the number of digital music and video services continues to grow, the focus on digital content supply and coordination is essential for the digital music business.
To manage the production process we are looking for a Digital Operations Manager with a relevant experience and solid organizational skills. The Digital Operations Manager will have to coordinate with the teams across all departments (Marketing, Artist & Repertoire, Legal & Finance) heavily involved in setting the operational procedure of all releases . Responsible for the complete digital supply chain management utilizing several digital content management systems and databases.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Commercial
- Understand and enforce UMG Digital Supply Chains guidelines and timeframes
- Enhance work practices and contribute towards improving the digital workflows and products
Be Organised
- Work on a daily basis with all Content Management Systems and platforms
- Ensure timely scheduling and end to end management of all releases for all labels, domestic or international
- Follow up on the deliveries of releases to all digital accounts
- Oversee and implement the digital production cycle of all domestic products based on the release planning and scheduling
- Responsible for keeping an updated track record and archiving process of company and artists assets
Be Collaborative
- Support the account management team by monitoring releases and repertoire performance across platforms
Person Specification
Necessary
- Proven track record working in a similar field
- Experience working in digital production
- Knowledge of key audio / video formats and digital supply chain systems
- Knowledge, interest and experience in the current digital music sector, with an understanding of the current streaming, download and subscriptions landscape
- Solid understanding of digital consumption trends
- Competence of Internet, mobile, telcoservices and technologies /

- Passionate about music or the entertainment industry
- Arabic language speaker would be a bonus
