The prominent rise of ecommerce and related new business models is having an impact on consumer shopping habits in bricks and mortar environments, creating an unavoidable role for Performance Marketing to play its part.

In your role as the Performance Media Manager, you will be responsible to create and operationalize a cross channel performance marketing strategy for our digital campaigns, with the goal of maximizing conversion all along the funnel across North Africa & Middle East

The Performance Media Manager will be part of the Digital Hub and will work cross-functionally with different departments and such as brand marketing, media & eCommerce, while also closely operating with our agencies. He/she is the internal expert when it comes to conversion led planning and optimization for digital media and creative performance.

There is extensive cross-functional, cross-market working with an extensive range of stakeholders. This role requires one to manage direct reports, external agency teams, media partners and to co-work effectively with a wide range of colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the Performance Marketing vision and strategy, ensuring all channels, customers and partners are supported by a world-class and scalable conversion experience
  • Working with cross functional internal and external teams to continuously optimize for performance metrics in real time plans, ensuring the delivery of holistic consumer journey-based experiences, aimed at converting to sales and maximizing the ROAS
  • Actively manage the multi-market Performance Marketing Roadmap and strategic planning process, securing funding for key initiatives, gaining stakeholder support and delivering to time and budget
  • Accountable for the Performance Marketing ROI metrics (ROAS, Conversion Rates etc)
  • Work closely with analytics, media, technology, and content teams,
  • Dock the global Performance Marketing Team for MENA region, and land the global frameworks and best practice for our brands locally
  • Proactively share performance reports, analysis, and insights on the performance KPIs and customer base, establishing strong communication channels to help the rest of the organisation understand and leverage the channel
  • Continually review customer channels (retailers, marketplaces, and Pure-players) performance alongside digital media performance metrics to ensure strong grip on holistic performance ROI.

Skills and Experience:

Primary:

  • Strong background in Performance Marketing encompassing work in search, display and retail media.
  • At least 8 years of experience of campaign management and optimisation, performance marketing and digital media execution
  • Strong knowledge and experience of digital media execution and optimisation
  • knowledge of digital conversion optimisation, performance marketing campaign planning or similar.
  • Effective balance of vision, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen with attention to detail and technical know-how
  • A good understanding and compass for purpose and values, manifesting in a desire to work with purposeful brands
  • Excellent stakeholder, communication, and leadership skills with demonstrable experience of managing senior level relationships
  • Strong management skills, demonstrating commercial awareness and previous experience of building effective working relationships with key stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability with ability to convert strategies into executable plans with clear milestones and interdependencies ensuring business imperatives are met

Main Job Purpose:

The range of Technical Operator roles varies between categories and technologies, but generally sits within the Filling, Forklift and Material Transfer, Mixer, Packing, Reporting, Shaping and Water Machinery Job Families.

The Technical Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, improvement and repair of equipment to support the delivery of operational KPIs (Productivity, Quality, Safety, Health and Environment, Cost, Delivery, Morale, Innovation and Sustainability (PQSCDMIS)). The Technical Operator should master the operation of a series of machines/processes in at least two areas of the factory in order to provide factory resilience. Supported by the core skills to work within an autonomous team the Technical Operator will diligently follow the established standards of production delivery and drive continuous improvement . Safety, quality and eco-efficiency are the hallmarks of the Technical Operator, which complement an enhanced ability to analyze, problem solve and coach others. The Technical Operator will have a basic understanding of key cost drivers in the Sourcing Unit and will grow this in line with her/his wider project management skills. Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Technical – – Knowledge and application of technical skills to Operate, Maintain, Improve and Repair (OMIR) equipment. This allows production targets to be met safely, at the right level of quality and on time. Full Technical Operator status is dependent on a high level of mechanical competence as defined by the skills profile.
    • Understand the principles of mechanism and motion and be able to conduct changeovers, basic repairs and adjustments (eg Cams, slides, bearings, belts and pulleys). Utilize appropriate lubrication regimes.
    • Understanding of principles and application of pneumatics in the sourcing unit; able to conduct fault finding and basic repair.
    • Monitor and evaluate the condition of equipment , machinery and components through the use of instrumentation and other diagnostic techniques. Liaises with technicians to eliminate sources of contamination.
  • Safety – Utilize all appropriate safety and environmental procedures relating to the Sourcing Unit and allocated equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team. Understand the legal responsibility placed upon individuals.
  • Work Place Hazards – Full knowledge of the workplace and hazards within it. Utilize all appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products and equipment relevant to the task. Ensure GHK of the concerned area to eliminate risk of creation of hazards
  • Environment – Reduce environmental impacts and costs associated with utilities, chemicals and product and operational wastes through maximizing eco-efficient operation.
  • Quality – Monitors quality against set standards and reports any product and packaging faults. Detects process abnormalities quickly and takes emergency action to prevent them.
  • Decision Making – Identifies repeated problems with production and repeated causes of breakdowns and suggests how to solve these. Actively contributes to mechanical and continuous improvements. Makes decisions to minimize production loss e.g mechanical improvements to reduce waste. Makes decisions to support effective team working eg arranging cover and managing training.
  • Continuous Improvement – Use performance measures to identify and prioritize losses in production area. Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses.
  • Problem Solving – Identifies, prioritizes and addresses problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence. Capable and confident of using Kaizen and other improvement tools.
  • Leadership – Promote the development of a highly effective and autonomous team through strong communication, leading by example and effective problem solving and conflict management. Maintains focus on goals and targets.
  • Coaching – Champion specific skills within the semi autonomous and autonomous team and coach them to others in order to drive excellence.
  • Business Awareness – Understanding of the need to meet changing demands and the role of marketing and product innovation in growing the business and increasing the company’s share.
  • Administration – Collaborate with colleagues to arrange shift and break cover, induct new employees and address performance shortfalls to ensure that team resources can meet operational requirements.

Requirements:
ESSENTIAL:

  • Must be flexible within pattern of shift work to accommodate factory shutdowns, training courses, to meet increase in demands etc.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • 5 to 7 years Hands on Experience on operation and maintenance of Fully Automatic High speed filling , labelling, cartoning ,wrapping machines ,case erectors, case packers and palletizer.
  • Core Engineering Skills – Background in Maintenance, Bench fitting and/or machining to operate at Full Technical Operator Level
  • Experience in PLC, Line integration and SCADA operations.
  • Experience of working as part of an extended team within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

PREFERRED / DESIRABLE:

  • Experience of manufacturing in a HPC, Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company.
  • Experience as a team member within a project Management team with an awareness of project management tools and techniques.
  • Experience with liquid filling line

Main Job Purpose:

The Demand Planning Assistant Manager will lead a team of Demand Planners responsible for the development of the 12-24 month rolling sales forecast for their category’s portfolio. This individual will provide guidance and support to several cross-functional teams through the monthly S&OP cycle with the objective of creating a realistic forecast and documenting any risks and opportunities.  Communication of volume changes and main drivers throughout the E2E supply chain is also a critical element of the role.  The Assistant DP Manager will drive the implementation of new SO&P tools, processes, and reports in partnership with Demand Planning Excellence to ensure ongoing continuous improvement.

The Demand Planning Assistant Manager will also lead Promotion Planner responsible for development and tracking execution of the promotions of the category from our factories and logistics teams.  This individual will also play a critical role in identifying business risks and leading crisis management when necessary and ensuring the appropriate business trade offs are evaluated and plans are developed to protect business priorities and accelerate recovery.

This position is key to achieving category KPI targets in many areas– forecast bias/accuracy, customer service, working capital, business waste and overall cost. The Demand Planning Assistant Manager will act as a key business partner in monthly S&OP processes that are executed in close cooperation with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Category Management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Demand Planning Process:

  • Own the forecast in any of the S&OP meetings (monthly cycle) and in the weekly operational meetings
  • Build the activities (that are over and above the baselines) provided by the Sales & Marketing teams
  • Maintain an assumptions tracker that would be used to evaluate the performance of the activity and challenge volumes going forward
  • Present the exceptions in the activity meeting and facilitate the process of reaching consensus on the final agreed unconstrained demand
  • Minute all the forecast changes that take place in any forum to ensure all stakeholders are aligned
  • Upload agreed unconstrained demand in APO, ensuring Master Data related to each product is maintained on the system to ensure accurate data flow.
  • Send finance a constrained plan basis the demand and supply reconciliation output

2. Manage Promotion Planning process

  • Communicate the most updated promotion plan with the relevant sales, marketing, supply planning, customer service and logistics teams
  • Work with Customer Service and logistics team to ensure stocks availability in all markets and to develop scenarios to mitigate supply gaps (if any) through demand adjustments
  • Work with Sales team on promotion plan to ensure best availability.

3. Communication with Extended Supply Chain

  • Communicate the most updated demand plan with the relevant supply planning and customer service teams
  • Work with Customer Service team to ensure stocks availability in all markets and to develop scenarios to mitigate supply gaps (if any) through demand adjustments

4. Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyse forecast accuracy and bias to identify and implement process enhancements to improve these KPI’s
  • Present the KPI’s to the Category team in order to find ways to improve them
  • Champion the development of changes to current processes
  • Coach the Category team on forecasting techniques to facilitate discussions while simultaneously improving KPIs

5. Team Management

  • Develop and manage development plan of the team members.
  • Coach team member to achieve best results

Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or relative field
  • At least 3 years of Supply Chain operations experience
  • Previous people leadership will be highly beneficial
