S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Developing Market Sr. Marketing Manager will leverage market, client, and product knowledge to develop the annual marketing plan and campaigns that incorporate all aspects of the marketing mix to maximize impact and results. The Sr. Marketing Manager will work with managers and stakeholders to draft copy, organize marketing events, create campaigns, and use marketing automation tools, social media, and relevant online and offline channels to push promotional messaging to the market. It is also required to measure the return from marketing investment and distill insights from marketing metrics to optimize future investment. This role’s initiatives are the foundation of a regionally focused, globally aligned, integrated marketing strategy that builds brand awareness and generates demand for our solutions.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be passionate about B2B marketing within the financial services industry. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to apply a client-centric view in developing regional and domestic market campaigns that position S&P Global Market Intelligence as a partner to our clients through our complementary and integrated solutions. The ability to develop the annual marketing plan focusing on prioritized business line solutions and client segment personas for the Middle East and Africa while maintaining a direct alignment with business priorities is crucial. It is essential to be able to collaborate with others within or beyond the reporting line and be a strong individual contributor. Familiarity with marketing and CRM platforms such as Marketo and Salesforce is a plus.
The Sr. Marketing Manager will engage with commercial and product team members to understand S&P Global Market Intelligence’s client personas, solutions, go-to-market strategies, brand positioning, and the competitive landscape. The Sr. Marketing Manager will then work closely with internal marketing teams across global regions and client segments with a focus to develop plans, allocate budget, and take projects from start to finish.
Content and product marketing – Develop product marketing campaigns for various content pieces which help position S&P Global Market Intelligence as a thought leader such as papers, reports, infographics, email campaigns, blogs, etc. Analyze and measure the performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.
Marketing communications – Produce email, web and advertising copy, social posts, and sales collateral aligned to the business’ growth strategy and branding guidelines.
Stakeholder communications and support – Collaborate with sales for driving the lead processing workflow and provide regular and consistent updates to the product and commercial teams.
Global collaboration – Leverage work developed by global colleagues and adopt campaign best practices by region or market. Influence and collaborate with colleagues beyond the reporting line to maximize the campaign impact and results.
Sales enablement – Develop materials to help Sales communicate the value proposition of products and support the selling process of those products
Event support & management – Work closely with the Global Event team and business areas to support event strategy and activation as well as define event KPIs
Marketing operations – Leverage marketing automation tool to plan and execute marketing campaigns and compile analytics and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
A minimum of 6 years of marketing experience, preferably in the B2B financial sector and/or ESG capacity
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred)
Foundational understanding of the industries and markets covered by S&P Global Market Intelligence
Experience in developing an annual marketing plan and budget; experience in budget management
Experience in writing marketing copy that communicates a product’s benefits and unique selling proposition
Experience with the digital, social, event, and other offline channels used to build B2B marketing campaigns
Strong presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment
Ability to collaborate with others beyond one’s reporting line
Ability to learn quickly with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning

The Role: The individual in this role will be responsible for day-to-day reporting on the Middle East crude oil and/or refined oil products market.
