The Job Opportunity

Serco is looking to hire a Subject Matter Expert; someone who is proactive, initiative driven and is responsible for the delivery and coordination of MyHR transactional services (payroll, OM, Helpdesk and Employees’ records management) between the onshore and offshore HR Shared Services teams by implementing effective and efficient processes and solutions. Coordinating day to day operations, issue resolution and ad hoc training/knowledge transfer.

This a fixed term opportunity of 2 months duration only.

Key account abilities

  • Provide payroll related support to the offshore payroll team to enable accurate and timely pay of all employees.
  • Ensures transactional process documentations (LWI’s) are developed, maintained and implemented for all MyHR processes. Working with appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely and complaint management of the above.
  • Supports internal and external audit of offshore MyHR and their services, while ensuring control environment meets our standards.
  • Responsible for effective and timely knowledge transfer to the offshore MyHR team of new requirements and/or improved processes and ways of working; ensuring full awareness and comprehension of process requirements to deliver compliant services in line with SLA’s.
  • Assist the Support Services Team in resolving shared services process related conflicts and issues within Serco Middle East contracts and/or offshore transaction centre.

What we are looking for in our candidates

  • Sound knowledge of HR Shared Services ways of working.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel information systems (SAP).
  • Ability to understand complex systems and possess good IT skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver on promises.
  • Working closely with a remote team
  • Knows how to deliver against performance metrics.

Specific requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working on HR transactional services including payroll and helpdesk.
  • Experience of working remotely with other team members.
  • Experience and understanding of dealing with customers and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Experience of working within a Shared Service/Support function.
  • Relevant Bachelor degree with Human Resources or Business Management.

The Job Opportunity

Assist in carrying out electrical works as directed by the Technician / Team Leader adhering to work order instructions, procedures, and compliance with HSE and QA/QC policies and not to interfere with the client’s activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure that a clean, tidy and safe working environment is maintained at all time by controlling tools, materials and waste products.
  • Assist with specialist moves, equipment moves, and porterage duties as required.
  • Assist with various and types of maintenance work as required and where directed by the Technician or Supervisor.
  • Conform to all necessary internal and/or external approvals before, during, and after maintenance and repair work including Permit to Work and Lock Out / Tag Out procedures.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge through technical training provided by the technician or Supervisor for the safe and efficient operation of all maintenance and repair duties.
  • Carry out cleaning work in plant and other rooms. Ensure that plant rooms are tidy and all assets and building structure are in good repair and painted to promote the professionalism of the company.

  • Proficient and able to demonstrate a complete understanding of assisting in electrical maintenance planned maintenance and repair services.

Serco is currently looking for FM Coordinators on a fixed-term basis for a big and prestigious project. The FM Coordinators oversee the functionality of the Facilities Management Hard and Soft services, including Cleaning & Waste Management, Logistics, Business Support and Fleet Operations. They will also assist with the coordination of Event Operations Delivery, integrating with other Event Functional Areas, other business departments and external stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

The FM Coordinators will coordinate the Hard and Soft Services for the sites and the public realm. They will also represent the division in matters related to safety and operational issues and implement occupational health and safety for all stake holders (both internal and external) across the site. They will integrate with other Event Operations Functional Areas for the ongoing management of the site.

Specific requirements

We are looking for candidates with similar experience within a highly dynamic and complex environment, with specific experience in Hard and/or Soft Services facilities management operations. Assistant Technician – Chillers & Plants (Electrical)

The Job Opportunity
The purpose of the role is to carryout preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on chiller and low voltage power related systems and assets individually or as part of a technical team, within a designated area of whilst ensuring minimal disruption to the operations.
This role is a subject to contract award and further details will be disclosed at a later stage.
Serco has a profound understanding of the region, having been operating in the Middle East since 1947 (for more than seven decades), where it harnesses international expertise, delivered on a local level.
Key accountabilities;
Responsible for diagnosis, maintenance, repair, overhauls and operation of all electro/mechanical systems and equipment for commercial chiller systems. This would include troubleshooting of motors, heat exchangers, chillers, cooling towers, air conditioning and pumps etc for water and reciprocation, air cooled chillers; helical screws and centrifugal equipment.
Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements at all times to ensure the health, safety & welfare of self and others at work.
Any other work as assigned by the electrical supervisor/duty engineer to achieve the purpose.
Able to read interpret and describe the functionality of electrical drawings (circuit and wiring diagrams/schematic and layout drawings) irrespective of manufacturer.
Able to correctly setup and use electrical test equipment and interpret the test results to include;
Digital Multi meter
Low Resistance Ohmmeter
Insulation Resistance Tester
Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker Tester
Earth Fault Loop Resistance Tester
Manifold gauge
Knowledge in the use & interpretation of Local and International Electrical Standards and Regulations.

Should have IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.

Must have minimum three (3) years’ experience within Power Distribution related environment or similar.
Should be fluent in written and spoken English and have ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers in oral and written English.
