OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
The Marketing Managers main focus is to work closely to support the DOC and to deliver the strategy and activity plan for the hotel, restaurant, bar and spa, including all marketing communications, marketing collateral, advertising and promotional activities both online and offline. With a particular focus on digital marketing, the Marketing Manager will take ownership of performance marketing, SEO, website content maintenance and CRM. All activities should be effectively delivered within an agreed timeframe and budget with measurable ROI on all promotions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be responsible for managing and delivering the day-to-day marketing activity for the hotel in line with the agreed Marketing strategy, to support the delivery of hotel revenue targets in terms of brand image and language.
· Manage day-to-day relationship with digital agency for performance marketing driving the best ROI for PPC, Display, Social and SEO working closely with DOC on digital strategy.
· Oversee and implement CRM strategy including e-Newsletters direct to consumers, sales, travel agent and communications including database management.
· Work closely with revenue department to develop competitive offers and promotions and activate them across marketing channels.
· To be responsible for the management and growth of the hotel data and the targeted use of the database.
· To be responsible for tracking campaign success to enable us to understand the return on the investment of each activity and aid future promotion plans through effective reporting.
· Work closely with the communications team to share knowledge, best practice and experience.
· Responsible for managing individual projects, connecting with key stakeholders in the business to activate 360 campaigns.
· Maintain and manage relationships with the brand marketing team at the corporate office, take responsibility for executing brand plans on property.
· To manage design/third party agencies in relation to hotel collateral and promotional business.
· To be responsible for the production of a monthly and end of year marketing report for the hotel detailing key achievements, activities undertaken and future key initiatives.
· Ensure the best possible rates are achieved from supplies when ordering materials and services.
· Support on social media planning, execution, and reporting.
· Support the DOC and Sales management of events, trade shows and, where appropriate, supporting the other departments during key areas of activity such as special events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: Preferred to have studied to under graduate level.
· Experience: Solid experience in luxury hotel sector with an understanding of key markets, strong
network of appropriate social/business connections within the key markets that they will be operating.
· General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy;
prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
· Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
· Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort, endure various physical movements throughout
the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.

Role
We are currently looking for a Director of Engineering to join our Executive team at Rosewood Doha. The Director of Engineering reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for overseeing the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering department, in terms of both planned preventative and reactive maintenance, to the building fabric and all associated services of the entire hotel.
Key expectations of this role
- Manage the entire hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and other related equipment in accordance with local legislation, Rosewood Engineering standards and energy conservation and ensure timely completion of reactive and preventative maintenance programs
- Manage the life safety installations, maintenance and periodic testing/ inspections to ensure full compliance at all times. Perform routine and emergency assignments in accordance with established hotel procedures to provide guests and associate safety.
- Manage and champion as the property responsible person the application of all Health and Safety, Fire Safety relevant statutes.
- Effectively manage the performance of all engineering associates to maximise productivity and minimise costs in compliance with current hotel policies.
- Assists with the preparation and implementation of an Emergency Response Plan and the operation and maintenance of all life safety and security systems.
- Seek to reduce costs to the hotel of utilities, contracts, consumable and replacements both capital and revenue. Maintain effective energy management and preventative maintenance programmes and conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.
- To develop and supervise the Engineering team; recognising training opportunities, organizing day to day operation of the office and maintaining successful communications within the team.
- Working closely with other Executive Committee members in a supportive manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel.
Profile
- Experience in a similar role, in an opening hotel is highly preferred.
- Experience in long term asset protection and complex and extensive budget management including Capex.
- Exceptional level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to multiple deadlines.
- Experience leading and managing the performance of the Engineering team, upholding the highest level of standards.
- Proven experience of managing various stakeholders, including external contractors and owners.
