We are urgently looking for a Tendering Manager for a reputed company in Doha – Qatar.
– Bachelor of Civil Engineering/3-5 years of experience in GCC region.
– Experience in preparing technical / Commercial submissions for civil engineering projects in GCC/Qatar
– Manage the tender estimation team in order to achieve precise and timely coordinated preparation of the tender presentation.
– Experience in floating of tenders and estimations for civil engineering projects.
– Knowledge of contract administration and FIDIC.
– Review Tender Enquires received from various clients, consultants or main contractors and recommendation for quoting or regretting on such enquiries, in coordination with the other members of the Quotation Committee.
– Ability to handle costing of projects during tendering stage.
– Ability to assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids.
– Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
– Monitor the preparation of estimates used by Management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
– Review material and labor requirements.
– Ability to prepare estimates for use in selecting supplier or subcontractors.
– Conferring with suppliers about the price enquires.
– Evaluation of the quoted prices from suppliers and finalizing with the coordination of Contracts Manager.
– Confer with Engineers, Architects, Contractors and Subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
– Consult with clients and suppliers to formulate estimates and resolve issues.
– Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors for future reference.
– Review customer/third party-generated documentation/correspondence and outgoing letters to protect the Company’s contractual & commercial position.
– High level of communication skills to establish and maintain business correspondence.
