Scope of work
Understand requirements and scope of work, project specifications, drawings and other documents and establish applicability to the scope of work.
Keep technically updated through the study of related technical literature including procedures and guidelines.
Ability to perform various activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up under supervision.
Knowledge, understanding and application of various instruments & equipment calibration requirements.
Be continually present on the field to guarantee the quality and progress of the work.
Ability to perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and toll box talk to executing the activities.
Ability to complete reports and check sheets, receive client’s supervisor approval/signature and submit to the turnover team for uploading in CMS.
Be aware of project specific procedures, Preservation & Maintenance check sheets, matrix and schedules.
Attend daily meeting with Commissioning coordinator and team leaders to update the progress and receive daily reports.
Regularly contact with discipline engineers and supervisors for solving problems related to project execution work safely.
Ability to lead team of supervisors and technicians to execute the work.
Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Supervisor.

Ability to gather information on design failures and / or discrepancies.
Ability to assist in performing various activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of process systems such as chemical cleaning, leak testing, catalyst loading, steam blowing, package unit start-up and operation, inerting, plant start-up operation & stabilization.
Ability to inspect all systems for operational readiness.
Able to assist in preparation of plans and specific method statements including P&ID mark ups for activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of process systems.

ENGINEER III – PROCUREMENT (UAE NATIONALS)
Key Responsibilities
Assist in performing procurement activities within established purchasing procedures by receiving requests, talking to vendors, examining price suitability, comparing specifications and receiving alternative bids to fulfil affirmative action, value analysis and other objectives. Maintain records on vendor service levels, buying turns and evaluate vendor efficiency.
Primary Duties
Participate in identification of vendors by researching product availability. Create vendors list.
Obtain the procurement plan, client approved vendor list and required manpower for the process at the start of the project.
Prepare project specific Terms & Conditions of Purchase, in consultation with the commercial department.
Issue request for quotations to vendors to procure goods or services in compliance with the
procurement procedures. Solicit bids from vendors; coordinate with the discipline engineers to clarify pre-bid queries from bidders.
Evaluate the commercial bids and conclude all terms & conditions with the vendors. Arrange response from vendors for the technical queries. Arrange bid clarifications meetings.
Update and issue Inquiry Status Log, Bid Clarifications Request Log.
Prepare bid tabs and perform pricing analysis, recommend contract awards that result in best value procurement. Prepare bid tabs. Conduct commercial negotiation and conclude on techno commercial requirements. Make purchasing decisions based on specific strategy, need and business policy.
Issue Purchase Orders incorporating the agreed ore-order terms & conditions. Obtain PO acknowledgements. Resolve all post-order commercial issues with vendors, mediate disputes resolutions for back orders.
Provide periodic feedback to the vendors on their performance in formal bid openings.
Communicate what went wrong with an unsuccessful bidder and encourage for future bidding.
Manage the day-to-day interaction with vendors and monitor vendor performance after completion of the project with reference to quality, schedule, deliverables, service and performance. Communicate qualitative feedback to the vendors.
Maintain cognizance on new trends and proactively stay apprised on new products. Maintain record of price trends for major material components.
Prepare periodic reports and maintain productivity measurement by including cycle time, quotations etc.
Implement Health and Safety Procedures.
Perform any related duties and responsibilities as and when required.

Scope of Responsibilities
PMC Senior Mechanical(static) Engineer reports to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, co-ordinates with Client(Owner) and will be responsible for management of Mechanical(rotating) Engineering on the project. Assume responsibility to assist Lead Mechanical Engineer to carry out Mechanical static equipment design and provide necessary technical information to the other disciplines during the project. The Senior Mechanical Engineer(Static) is overall responsible for required technical performance of Mechanical Static Equipment Engineering Design to meet project objectives.

Primary Duties
Provide technical expertise on all engineering subject matter pertaining to Mechanical (Static)engineering and design
Review, approve, guide and supervise the detail engineering work of the EPC Contractors and ensure compliance of Project Specification, Design Basis, Codes & Standards, Company Standards and Local Regulations.
Ensure EPCC Contractor carry out their engineering and design within project schedule and in compliance with all engineering requirements.
Coordinate monitor and handle Mechanical(static) engineering with EPC contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
