The Project Engineer is responsible for developing and successfully executing projects including conceptual development, FEED studies, detailed design, up to and including fabrication, commissioning and site integration testing. In addition, the position is accountable for achieving the overall project objectives by managing execution, scope, schedule, budget, and other project functions.
Essential Functions:
Facilitates the preparation and control of project scope, justification, economic analysis, schedule, construction, and management execution using the Company project development process.
Provide support for project execution, including selection and procurement of equipment and related services.
Perform administrative duties, such as creating presentations, meeting minutes, and meeting action registers.
Create and maintain databases on project performance that track overall progress and the achievement of specific milestones.
Communicate project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels.
Develop and maintain documentation, plans, and reports; prepare customer deliverables, including documentation and project drawings and ensure timely submittal.
Ability to solve technical issues related to project execution and effectively communicate in technical terms with internal and external clients.
Ensure work is performed in a safe manner in all aspects of the project.
Assumes an active role in project interface through distributing information and managing stakeholder expectations.
Serve as primary contact for communication between the client, contractors, and internal organizations by conveying technical, schedule, and financial information promptly and professionally.

Knowledge of drilling equipment including related equipment layouts and functionality.
Knowledge of rig operations and rig crew functions is considered a benefit.
Knowledge of code requirements pertaining to the design, construction, safety, and operation of both land and offshore drilling rigs including but not limited to API, ASME, ASCE, AISC, ASHRAE, and other related industry standards is considered a benefit.
Experience planning project work flow of fabrication, installation and testing is preferred.

An individual must have the following qualifications to perform this job successfully.
An bachelor of science degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required
Minimum ten (10) years of oil and gas industry experience, preferably related to drilling rig construction and testing.
Outstanding oral, written, and presentation abilities.
Effectiveness working both independently and as a member of a team.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer is required.
Experience working with projects from conception to completion.
Extensive travel will be required (50% of the time).
The ability to read, write, and speak English is required. Fluency in a foreign language is considered a benefit for this position.

Essential Functions
- To safely and satisfactory perform any given casing/tubing tong assignment
- When stand by, keep in contact with the Operation Supervisor / Coordinator and stay in contact by means of telephone.
- Understand the operation and routine maintenance requirements of all tubular handling and clearing equipment.
- Having a general knowledge of the Company’s products and services.
- Have sound knowledge of quality procedures and work instructions and initiate changes to such as required, to be able to perform jobs efficiently and safe
- Understand routine and specific maintenance procedures as they relate to power tongs and power units
- Preparation of accurate delivery tickets, job reports, time sheets and other similar administrative forms.
- Must be able to prepare and dispatch equipment according to checklist procedures.
- Must be able to independently and trouble shoots all tubular handling and cleaning equipment.
- Assist maintenance supervisor with special maintenance assignments and perform pipe yard duties as necessary.

- Act as trainer for Service Technicians I and II.
- An extensive operational and maintenance knowledge of all Company equipment including but not limited to Hydro test, compressors, pipe cleaning machine, etc. is essential
