This individual contributor role will work with partners to identify new business sales opportunities, cross-sell opportunities, and assist in recruiting a revenue focused partner eco-system and channel sales organization.
Responsibilities:
- Uncover and manage new selling opportunities in a geographic territory
- Call on and develop relationships with C-level executives across business and IT units
- Execute a sales process that validates and qualifies the technical and business requirements of the customer in order to close the business
- Articulate the value proposition and be familiar with ROI and TCO tools at a business level to provide to Business Stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 – 10 years of experience in direct sales within the enterprise software space (SAAS/PAAS preferred)
- Experience using an established enterprise software sales process/forecasting methodology
- Tenacious, hungry, competitive in nature.
- Accustomed to exceeding revenue targets (top 10-20% of company performers)
- Strong customer references
- Availability to travel
- Sales DNA – hunting mentality, tenacity
- At least 50% of regional travel
