ACCOUNTABILITIES
Running stable and efficient operations for data analytics, data engineering and Digital Data Platform (DDP)
Ensures close alignment between the digital use cases and the future DBS vision, architecture and solutions as well as expected operational impacts
Maintain close alignment with the data governance, data architecture, data security and overall DBS strategy and solutions.
Continuous collaboration with the various NOC business entities to ensure the data governance practices are applied on data repositories (e.g. Data Quality).
Key Accountabilities:
– Data ingestion to enable digital use cases and enterprise requirements
– Data Analytics to enable automated dashboarding and reports
– Digital and data platform operations
– Demand and project management related to business data requirements
– Vendor and contractors management along with the associated budget and cost
ACTIVITIES
Contribute to the digital use cases planning, development and maintenance in alignment with existing solutions, architecture, governance, and best practices
Responsible for data solutions and services performance and operations (on cloud and on premise) and their resource consumptions on all vendors / components providing periodic reporting to DBS leadership team
Lead the evaluation and selection of data solutions to be added to the existing architecture (i.e DDP)
Manage and evaluate deliverables in alignment with the defined scope and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors
Manage the implementation of best practice and standardization of Data operations processes
Manage and establish outsourcing requirements and service contracts needed to support/fulfill DBS and Business needs
Lead projects or supervise project managers to lead projects related to Data Operations and contribute to the implementation of solutions with impacts on data operations/management through Agile or waterfall project methodology
Drive and lead solutions selection and operations towards enabling business
Assess and select data solutions required to meet digital and overall business needs
Assess the implications of new data & digital products deployment on the DDP foundations in production
Responsible for ensuring the alignment between data architecture and data visualization as well as the overall data governance practices
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures, solution documentations and architecture are in place
Manage the DDP defect / service management process
Engage with solution vendors and providers (e.g., Microsoft, Informatica) as focal point for escalation and resolution processes (e.g., ticket tracking, fix deploy)
Identify operations optimization opportunities and make proposals to the IS leadership
Responsible for ensuring the implementation of security controls to ensure the safe and secure data operations
Contribute with risk/ benefit analysis to keep DDP arch. Run/evolve efficiently
Establish and arrange DDP SteerCo. with the relevant stakeholders and in alignment
Review and approve change requests and ensure data operations changes requests are raised to Change Advisory Board, including and produce change Release plans (e.g., rollout, rollback) and approval documentation)
Facilitate discussion with business and stakeholders on data management needs and lead its delivery
Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to mature NOC’s data management, operations and governance
Build and maintain effective working relationships with key entities and stakeholders in NOC and other parties as needed.
Support NOC to define new requirements, participating in End user meetings to derive and define the business requirement, propose cost effective solutions for data governance and familiarize the team with the requirements, specifications, design targets & techniques to support task performance and delivery.
Review & Propose industry best tools & technology for ever changing business rules and data set from data governance point of view, Conduct Proof of Concepts (POC) with new tools & technologies to derive convincing benchmarks and deliver value-based solution in Quick time.
Lead the development and release of periodic service monitoring reports with relevant KPIs (e.g., service availability, maintenance and support incidents) and Operational reports for scheduled activities (e.g., updates, maintenance, backups
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Information Management or Computer Science or an engineering/business related equivalent.
Deep experience in petroleum operations data and good understanding of the related data sources
Full understanding of Data management (e.g. Data Lake/warehouse, Data Platform, Data Ingestion, MDM, ETL, Data Visualization ..etc)
Experience in database technologies and techniques (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, …etc)
Project management and Agile methodology certifications
Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation.
Awareness of data integration patterns, data modeling and data architecture
Ability to work in Agile environment, and to regularly learn and adopt new technology
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams
8 years of experience in Data and Information Management/Governance for Oil and Gas Upstream operations is an advantage.
Fluent English both spoken and written

ACCOUNTABILITIES
To define, co-ordinate / assist to coordinate and oversee the safe development, implementation and execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities in close liaison with , Departmental Planners, Contracts and Procurement Department, Warehouse, Campaign/Shutdown Team Leads & Coordinators, Field Operations Inspection department, Maintenance Engineering Department and T1/T2 Maintenance Coordinators.
ACTIVITIES
- Drive an Incident Free environment through establishing and maintaining a strong safety cultur
- Responsible for ensuring positive HSE performance by personnel, contractors and others working under the guidance of the Lead Maintenance Coordinator
- Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, company standards and procedures under the area of responsibility to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance and responsible environmental attitude
- Support in providing first level specialist technical advice and guidance to site/offshore personnel on the maintenance of mechanical equipment, root cause analysis and investigations where required involving maintenance coordinators
- Support in providing technical and administrative support to the site base operations; preparation of scopes of work for short term interventions, organization of vendors, supply direct support to site requests (vendors, spare parts, tooling, technical procedures, work packs and work order resourcing)
- Support in providing technical and administrative support to campaign and shutdown teams to ensure the overall readiness and execution of scopes in line with campaign shutdown gate criteria process. Work order resourcing

Position is in a Joint Venture Operating Company on the Al Shaheen oil and gas field, one of the largest offshore oil and gas field s in the world. The role is onshore based in Doha, Qatar and is a permanent staff position on a residential basis (5 day working week).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This position is reporting to the Offshore Installation Manager (N+1) and Offshore Area Manager (N+2).
- Position has 0 NOC direct reports / subordinate positions (N-1).
- Position supervises contract personnel associated with Inspection and Integrity related activities.

Activities
- Implement and supervise the execution remit of the defined inspection plan
- Oversee all activities associated with the inspection of topsides process facilities, export systems and primary/secondary structure
- Provide support and risk based/prioritised direction to the OFMEs to ensure that integrity threats associated with fabric maintenance are identified and escalated for execution accordingly
- Act as site performing authority to ensure that all responsible activities are carried out in accordance with NOC permit to work system and company procedures
- Contribute to defining the inspection strategy/plan via close collaborations with onshore support functions
- Supervise incumbent inspection contractor(s) to deliver on short term operational and integrity based priorities
- Responsible for the effective resource management of site based contractors; ensuring resource deployment based on risk
- Actively promote and visibly drive a strong safety culture, through regular tool box talks and value adding interventions
- Develop and implement safe working processes to deliver on inspection strategy, ensuring all those engaged in inspection related activities understand their duties associated with a safe and reliable operation
- Implement and actively drive best in business approach to integrity management and inspection regimes

Profile Required
- Minimum of high school or equivalent education.
- Certification in API 510 & 570 is required
- Experience in the application of standard/non-standard Non-Destructive Testing techniques is required
- ASME Plant Inspector Level 1/2 is preferred
- Existing and/or expired PCN or ASNT NDT qualifications are beneficial, but not essential
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the petrochemical, refining, oil / gas exploration and/or production
- industries in a similar role with at least 3 years in a leadership/supervisory capacity
- Practical experience in plant inspection and an appreciation of NDT application/limitation is required
- Thorough understanding and application of industry process safety guidelines and procedures
- Strong leadership/supervisory skills in a multicultural and highly technical specialized environment
