We are a subsidiary of Nikkiso Company Ltd, a leading industrial manufacturer headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with over $1.5 B in annual revenue, 8000 + employees worldwide, and publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
We are looking to add a Field Service Supervisor to our Nikkiso Cryogenic Service (NCS) team in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on commissioning, troubleshooting, service, and repair of cryogenic pumps and related equipment for the LNG and industrial gases industries
- Provide high level technical support to customers at their location, handle warranty requests and respond to customer questions
- Provide on-site equipment training to customers; support installation, commissioning, repair, and spare parts management
- Create field service reports and maintain service information in the company enterprise database
- Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits
- Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions
- Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
Position Requirements:
- Technically competent with mechanics and software of cryogenic pumps and related equipment for the LNG and industrial gases industries
- Ability to read prints and schematics
- Mechanically inclined with good problem solving skills
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to communicate with customers at all levels
- Ability to speak English
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with cryogenic pumping equipment
- Experience with turbo machinery
