The Role And Responsibilities – Senior UX Strategist
We are looking for a first-rate UX strategist who is comfortable working in a team of smart minds alongside driven and ambitious clients. The successful candidate will be joining our global Digital Design capability and working alongside design colleagues in other locations to share ideas and design innovative new solutions to challenging client problems. As part of our small design team in the region it is essential you are comfortable working with a team of diverse talents, and important you are comfortable to collaborate remotely with the rest of the design team. You will be liaising with a range of stakeholders (both internal and external) as well as partner firms, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
As a UX Strategist you’ll help our clients research, plan, and launch complex digital experiences and platforms. Your work will include project discovery, user research, workshop facilitation, information architecture, customer flows, content strategy, and prototypes to help take what is in people’s heads and bring it to life in the most efficient way possible.
Most of the work will be using the Agile PM framework, but you need to be more than just a UX operator, you need to be able to help everyone understand the big picture and help to drive the entire solution.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong portfolio of client and user-focused digital design products and be familiar with a range of relevant software and tools, as well as being able to demonstrate a comfort with design thinking processes.

5+ years digital product and service design projects for large or medium projects
Experience with all phases across the design process, from discovery and design, into development, release launch and testing

Strong proven portfolio of business focused UX/UI design products and services

Job Overview:
The provision of full administrative and accounts support to the business team. Maintain office services by organizing day-to-day operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors – offer refreshments, direct to allocated meeting space and informing the guest’s arrival to the meeting organizer
- Manage Office Services mailbox, incoming facsimiles, main reception phone line, and calendar
- Liaise with the office help / cleaning team and building support team for smooth day-to-day running
- Manage room bookings & configurations for both internal and external meetings/trainings/events – facilities’ set-up, catering, and IT coordination if A/V is required
- Office & building security access management (access cards or fingerprint enrollment)
- Office occupancy tracking & reporting (every Monday and Thursday)
- Operate online internal office applications – ZOOM, POW, Slack etc.
- Circulation of Office Services office-wide communications or announcements
- Courier services handling (local & international) and internal mail distribution from post office
- AMEX corporate card enrollment & cancellations
- First Aid training certification (arranged internally)
- Car parking card distribution management and parking policy briefing
- Office maintenance – liaising with Facilities Specialist for support, tracking and reporting.
- Liaising with the office Landlord, contractors on Facilities
- HSE processes & policy implementation
- Office Services onboarding/offboarding process management (Welcome to OW induction, allocation of office access, pigeonholes, ordering of business cards, pedestal, lockers, update in phone directory, parking card access, AMEX card enrollment)
- Stock takin – ordering, and receiving of both office and pantry supplies
- Point of contact for local contracted hotel affiliations and BCD relationship
- Maintain up-to-date vendors/contractors list and manage relations/services and schedules
- New vendor set up with accounts payable team.
- Oracle invoice management (iProcurement system)
- Liaising with MGTI Dubai team on basic local support, shipment of devices
- Assist with basic ZOOM troubleshooting and audio-visual conference room connections and set up

Experience Required:
- At least three years’ experience at working in a similar role.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join Oliver Wyman as an Executive Assistant in our Doha office!
As Executive Assistant you will provide executive level administrative support to up to 3 Partners. You will be responsible for supporting Partners on all aspects of daily administration, including diary management, scheduling internal and external meetings, conference calls, video conferences and making international travel and accommodation arrangements.
Executive Assistants at Oliver Wyman also play a pivotal role in supporting Partners with client development and marketing activities. You will become familiar with their clients and their sales goals, Practice themes and Oliver Wyman ‘products’, enabling you to confidently arrange client meetings, to maintain the list of client contacts and business activities in the CRM database and to also track and maintain sales activity/pipeline.
The Partners you support will also entrust you to proactively identify clients that have not been contacted or met with recently and to optimize client meetings whilst travelling in another international locations, as well as to customize client mailings and to prepare client proposals.
Who are we looking for?
- You will be an experienced Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant, with at least 3 years’ experience of supporting multiple stakeholders
- Ideally you will have gained your Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant experience from within a management consultancy, financial services or professional services/corporate organization – experience of working for a Global firm will be advantageous
- It is essential that you have experience of working in Doha / Qatar, as local knowledge is very important for this role
- Experience of using a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics, in particular) is desirable
- You will be skilled in using Excel and PowerPoint and experience of using SharePoint and Google Drive will be a definite advantage
- We require fluency in both Arabic and English, with fluent writing, reading and speaking abilities
