JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
•Give clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff on paint application by working on site with relevant client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met and in accordance with customer expectation.
•Carry out inspections of a specific project assigned to you by your direct manager by working independently, following the ITP and working procedures in order ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification
•Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met
The job holder works independently as a Coating Advisor, attending projects within Protective and/or Marine. If the Job holder does not have adequate English skills, the Coating Advisor can only attend local projects, until a reasonable level of English is mastered.

- Providing project and sales support to the relevant concepts & sales channels within the region with alignment of segment and regional strategies
- Follow-up all regional KPIs/Targets/Activities to influence the local sales & project teams
- Identify and share projects list in early stage with local sales team and follow-up on their activities using different Data Intelligence Platforms
- Strengthen relationships with key asset owners, EPC’s applicators /fabrication yards by conducting presentations, seminars, supporting bid submissions, etc.
- Raise company & product awareness through internal and external client/industry presentations and gather necessary data and conduct surveys in order to understand the local and regional needs
- Monitor and analyze performance, general technical development of the shipping / marine industry, market trends and the status of the relevant customers in order to meet business targets
- Act as central point for information on customer and competitor intelligence
- Strengthen the MEIA PC Sales (Shipping) organization by translating disparate data sources into actionable information that will help to secure more business.
- Support in generating regional reports both on ad-hoc and continuous basis
- Monitoring progress on sales efforts by creating and following up on reports within region and units
- Support usage of existing and newly developed tools by serving as super user and promoter of the same (e.g. CRM & PowerBI).
