What will you do
Data Analyst is a key role, reporting directly to the Business Development Manager – MEA. You will be based in Dubai and will be part of DX MEA Channel sales team and you will be focused on analyzing data sets to find ways to solve problems relating to the business’s customers, review market trends and communicates this information to management and other stakeholders.
As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives for our Team.
How you will do it
As a Data Analyst your key responsibilities including;
Data Consistency:
Ensure all Data is properly charged in SFDC and there is 100% alignment between the database (SAP & iScala) and the cloud-based software (SFDC)
Participate in PGB and CRM Adoption meetings for monthly releases
Participate in IT follow up meetings when necessary
Monitor and analyze competitive activity, customer, and market trends
Develop methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data
Study past sales data to determine trends in productivity
Data Analysis:
Provide customized monthly report through Power BI/Alteryx analysis to every MEA country stakeholders
Present and explain such analysis and their insights to each of the countries
Develop new analysis and insights through Alteryx flows and Power BI reports with SAP & iScala and Salesforce data
Improve and optimize already existing reports and analysis
Who we look for
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics or Mathematics.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, as you will be working with the MEA and global team.
Excellent skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, and Alteryx for analysis purposes. Appreciated knowledge in Python, R, SQL and SAP.
Previous experience as a Data Analyst and/or Data Scientist is a plus.
Innovative: the ideal candidate is someone who brings new ideas in order to optimize and improve all the existing procedures and reports.

About Consumer Health
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Consumer Health and your employment would be governed by New Consumer Health’s employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Role Summary:
The Demand Planner will be accountable for incorporating macro trends into regional forecasts, as well as product discontinuations. The forecast build should also incorporate business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, replenishment analysts, and other sources where applicable across 24 month horizon.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Forecasting and S&OP Management:
- Maintains and understands the sales data at different aggregation levels (Brands, Sub-brands, SKUs, variants, sizes, Distribution channels, demand groups and demand locations).
- Gathers information and documents assumptions based on historical data, business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailers, and other sources.
- Produces unconstrained base demand plan utilizing APO statistical modelling in collaboration with Central demand planning team.
- Maintains & validates assumptions of activities calendar and events forecasting building blocks.
- Facilitates parts of the S&OP process to gain consensus and alignment with all stakeholders involved in the process to arrive at one unbiased aligned number, practicing the IBP concepts.
- Analyses gaps (financials, capacities, inventory etc.) from unit based plans to drive alignment between business functions.
- Measures and tracks the forecast accuracy at different levels and initiate action plans to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
Risk Management And Inventory Health:
- Manages and communicates supply criticalities to all stakeholders outside the 3month horizon. Collaborates with the regional supply planners to assign the right priority and action plan to minimize such supply risks.
- Co-owns with RSP inventory DOS and stock cover for their assigned products category / inventory location.
- Performs SLOB risk analysis and initiate action plans with marketing/commercial team to keep SLOB provisions at minimum level.
New Products Introduction:
- Locally owns NPI project management from supply chain point of view, collaborating with regional supply planners, regulatory, marketing, commercial and operations team to ensure successful on time NPI launch up the point that is handed over to OPEX.
- Manages Phase in Phase Out (PIPO) changes at SKU level and communicate changes to all stakeholders.
- Collaborates with Data Governance to ensure product codes are created in the system at the right time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or similar. Courses in Supply Chain/Logistics is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, at least one year in Demand Planning.
- Prior APO and IBP experience or qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience working with quantitative & qualitative numbers, and creating reports.
- Expert in Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Self-starter, results driven & self-motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Acts as Risks/Opportunities Radar.
- Continuous Improvement Mind-set: PLAN, DO, CHECK & ACT (PDCA) approach to business, Analyses gaps, identifies root causes and process gaps, Initiates and completes actions.
