To achieve success in this role you will need to:
To control and confirm JDE entries pertaining to the stores on real time basis and ensuring that JDE is kept on-line 24×7.
Physical stock taking – to distribute tasks over supervisors and take responsibility of minimising stock variances. To assign supervisors and plan Receiving / Storing / Issuing of materials.
Control waste management by monitoring short life products, expiry dates, and slow moving items.
Control and sign off documents for proper material accounting.
Monitor adherence to Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure all operational processes and stores are carried out in efficient and safe manner as outline in respective document.
Coordinating with internal users (production and try setup) to enhance processes
Regular update between purchase and demand planning team to ensure sufficient inventory to support customer orders.

QUALIFICATIONS
About you
You should have at least a High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma with minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree Qualification with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.
In addition, you will have the following job specific skills:
Storekeeping and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Exposure in Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Assurance.
Good knowledge of JDE (JD Edwards system) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) usage and able to identify the systems gaps.
Good spoken and written English.
Good Communication skills.
Good knowledge of Stores and Receiving process.

JOB SUMMARY:
Assists in leading the property’s segmented sales effort (e.g., group, transient, association, corporate, etc.) and assists in the implementation of the segment sales strategy and achieving segment revenue goals, property revenue goals and guest and employee satisfaction. Conducts all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives. Achieves personal booking goals.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Education and Experience
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
OR
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES:
Developing & Executing Sales Strategies
- Works with sales leader to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.
- Assists in the development, implementation and sustaining of aggressive solicitation program focused on increasing business.
- Works with management team to create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and the market for the segment led by the DOS.
- Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.
Maximising Revenue
- Provides positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets example with personal booking goals).

Managing Sales Activities

Responsibilities
- Is responsible for the cash register opening procedures, verifying the presence of cash and the correct functioning of all the necessary devices
- Manages cash payments, currencies, credit cards and cheques, checking for consistency with the Company procedures and the tax regulations
- Manages the process of billing and credit notes according to the local regulations
- Carries out all the procedures and activities related to the down payments, returns, refunds, issuance of coupons, giveaways and credit notes to customers, following the Company and the Store Manager guidelines

Requirements
- Previous work experience as a Cashier in a luxury boutique
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
- Detail oriented, precise, reliable and able to manage stress
- Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office and Outlook; SAP Retail experience preferred
- Fluent English & Arabic, both spoken and written; other languages are a plus
