About the Opportunity:

Due to our continued growth in the region Jacobs is hiring Senior Assurance Manager – QHSE in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities include:
Establish and manage all Quality functions by heading the QA/QC department
Responsible for the preparation of Project Quality Plan, ITP’s, Technical Work Instructions in accordance with contract specifications and company adopted quality management system (QMS) requirements
To ensure all quality test results and reports are submitted to client is on time
Establish the internal audit plans, notifications for scheduled internal audits within organization and to the clients
Communicating corrective actions and outcomes to the process owners following internal audits.
Scheduling the periodic Management Review Meetings to highlight the internal/external audit results
Interface and coordination with clients for continual improvements in the system by implementation of QMS, preparing corrective and preventive actions, lessons learned etc.
To ensure that the project activities are undertaken with implementation of the client, vendor and company quality control system requirements and advises the Project Management Team in case of any violation
Plan and undertake Subcontractor audits and reviews of Subcontractor quality management and control programs
To establish and implement the on‐job practical training for the QA/QC personnel’s, newly recruited and or the existing ones
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Minimum 12 years of experience on major and complex infrastructure projects with at least 5 years in the capacity of a quality manager, directly relating to supervision of construction activities in the contract scope of work
Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher), with a numeric focus preferably in economics, finance, property or one of the engineering sector domains. The position supports the leadership team, where you will have responsibility for the contract and commercial management of your assigned package on the programme.
This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge on cost reporting, including cost forecasting, anticipated final cost, cost of work done, gross billing and current contract value whilst leading the commercial review of contractor delivery of projects and lead valuation progress meetings. You will be assessing contractual implications of issues as they arise and provide direction to the package delivery team; managing claims, advising on all aspects of contractual claims whilst implementing procedures to anticipate, recognize and identify claims as they evolve, manage timely resolution under the change provisions where possible and obtain legal expertise as appropriate.
