The Opportunities
We are seeking a Procure to Pay (P2P) Officer in our Shared Service Centre to support P2P process optimisation and best practice across IHS Towers. You will perform P2P Accounting for the assigned entities and finalize applicable high-quality balance sheet reconciliations which can stand the test of audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support change, process standardization & continuous improvement mindset across IHS
- Basic knowledge of P2P best practice & trends
- Receive electronic invoices
- Processing of vendor invoices and handling vendor queries (Invoice entry into D365, Invoice matching, Lead invoice query resolution)
- Creation of payment proposals for periodic pay runs
- Processing of exceptional items and conversion of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders (POs)
- Submission of POs to vendors
- Employee expenses processing and month-end processing
- Journal postings/approval
- Produce month-end reports
Key Requirements
- French language skills are a huge plus
- Post graduate experience
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end P2P accounting
- Recognised professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification is essential
- Demonstrate competencies in financial accounting, analytical thinking and problem solving
- Worked in Shared Services type environment is nice to have
- Working knowledge of applicable IFRS and IAS (IFRS 16 and IAS 16, 36 and 37).
The working week is Monday to Friday, 11:00 am – 8:00 pm and there may be some travel to other countries.
