Your role will be joining the Maths department and helping to raise standards of both IGCSE and AS levels . We are a non selective school and have set high standards for our girls with both academic and pastoral expectations. With in your department, you will be expected to be an active member, supporting and developing the team with innovative planning and accurate assessment. Experience in KS 3,4 and 5 is optional. In the school. We want to develop this and create a school with a great reputation for science.
In August we opened a partnership boys school – Valley Forge Academy. This is have great opportunities for CPD partnerships and synergies. It also allows married couple to apply with the wife coming to Durham and the husband to VFA.

Durham School for Girls Doha is seeking to appoint flexible and inspirational Female Secondary Maths teacher to join our High Performance learning team school for August . Must be fully vaccinated. Experience in IGCSE, AS and A level teacher preferred.
International teaching is returning to some normality and Qatar is going to be an exciting year with the World Cup. Durham School is a unique school in Doha and we want you to be part of this exciting team.
We currently are expanding Secondary and also opening Year 13.
Durham School for Girls opened in 2019 and we now have nearly 1200 students . The school will expand again in 2021 with Year 11 and 12 and the first Year 13 students will start in with an expected growth to 1200 students.
Following in the footsteps of Durham School UK, Durham School for Girls Doha aims to continue the heritage of strong pastoral care, inclusion and individual progress that make the School “Distinctively Durham”. Within the school there will be a strong ethos based on the school philosophy and values. Centered around the girl’s individual development, we aim to ensure that we strive for a balance in both academic and personal, social development ensuring confidence for life.
Your role will be fundamental in growing and developing the Secondary department and hands on in the molding and design of the school.
