MANAGER CREATIVE SERVICES & EVENTS
- Monitor day-to-day process carried out, under the supervision of the supervisor – creative Media & A/V, by Buyer – Print production, A/V technician, Cameraman and Photographer, at every stage of the implementation
- Implement tools and technique for monitoring and ensuring that financial and operational performance goals of the department and Creative services section are achieved by the employees
- Provide support and remove barriers to achieve successful outcomes by resolving problems related to production operations and related matters
- Plan and oversee the services delivered during large-scale conference events, exhibitions etc.
- Manage vendor selection process and contract negotiations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with in other Departments of Dubai Customs and Stakeholders
- Coordinates creation and dissemination of printed or audio/visual information materials through mass mailings, email, website and other forms of media outreach
- Maintain equipment inventory and approve for equipment purchases when necessary, within budget and conduct periodic inventory audits
- Works directly with Corporate Communication Director, Logistic and Integration Executive and Senior Administrator, and ensures that high quality content is produced, cost and time effectively and it meets the overall objectives of Dubai Customs
- Performa all the assigned tasks from the line manager with reliability, honesty, and discretionQualificationsBachelor degree in corporate communication / MBA with relevant specialization
10 – 12 years of relevant business experience with at least 5 years exposure to the budgeting, Media, Events team management, planning, executing plans, business process improvement, people development and innovation

The role holder is responsible for updating and uploading graphic content to applicable online services through timely and creative selection and editing of appropriate photos and videos to ensure proper representation of GDMO’s key stakeholders across new media channels. The role holder also verifies the quality of proof reading performed on provided texts, uploads texts along with graphics through content management systems and edits graphics for publication in traditional media channels under production-related projects. The role holder also monitors new media channels to assure proper representation of key stakeholders’ image and reports needs for changing the functionalities of online services respective technical sections. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the relevant business policies and procedures.
Key Activities:
- Participates in the development and implementation of Marketing Department plans and budgets, in line with organizational objectives.
- Acts upon the Marketing Section mandates, ensuring effective/ providing leadership for and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Marketing.
-Graphics Design:
- Create graphical work & content to internal stakeholders and events, mainly (DPC, Brand Dubai, SMA, GDMO)
- Edits graphic content provided by the key stakeholders \.
- Edits photos and videos as well as under production-related projects.
- Edits graphic layouts of uploaded content to ensure proper representation.
Website Maintenance:
- Performs necessary reviews of website accessibility.
