By thinking ahead, foreseeing change and innovating we aim to create the most productive, efficient and safe trade solutions globally.About the Role Responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of a number of Human Resource activities and processes in the areas of learning & development, performance development, talent management and employee relations in line with DP World’s Human Resource Business Partnering strategy within the business. The role also acts a key point of contact for employees and management to provide guidance and advice on policies, programmes and processes related to human resources.Key Accountabilities Human Resource Business Partnering * Act as a point of contact and liaison within the Corporate Head Office providing advisory HR services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of HR, policies, programmes and services * Answer employee and management requests and questions as well as provide advice across all Human Resource areas including policy application * Provide assistance to the Head Office HR business partnering programmes, analysis, research and processes including but not limited to: * oorganisational structures and charting; * job description analysis and development; * general and specifically tailored talent management activities related to critical roles, succession plans and development plans; * employee relations and engagement activities. * Manage the tracking, auditing and follow up of the Performance Management process for setting, interim and year end reviews and reporting on same * Coordinate and support the learning and development process for Corporate Head Office including the annual Learning Needs process with Line Managers, provision of solutions in line with identified needs and monitoring of budget expenditure. * Provide support to the engagement survey administration, implementation, analysis and reporting, liaising with relevant stakeholders in the process for the Corporate Head Office as well as the global level * Manage the day to day employee relations activities and programmes for the corporate head office population to include but not limited to the planning, logistics and communications pertaining to set events * Provide support in HR related activities related specifically to the initial and final aspects of the employee’s life cycle in the areas of induction/on-boarding and departure with a view to improving the employee value proposition * Support the Senior HR Business Partner with annual headcount and workforce planning schedule and activities * Collaborate with the HR Centres of Expertise to ensure overall alignment of prgrammes and activities * Support and assist in the research and development of reports, presentations, tools/guides, communications and programmes related to HR resource activities * Assist with HR analytics and measurement as required Other * Assist other senior HR members with various research projects and/or special projects. * Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Founder’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies * Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. * 5 years’ experience with relevant exposure across different HR fields (e.g. compensation, employee relations, learning & development, talent management, organizational design, performance management, HR Operations) * Human Resources related professional certificate or qualification (e.g. CIPD, SHRM) * Previous experience in talent management will be an added advantage * Human Resource consultancy experience will be an added advantage * Strong verbal and written communication Skills * Strong Computer Skills, good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other programs as needed. * Report writing / Numerical skills * Multilingual: multiple language skills are preferable (Arabic, French, Spanish, etc.) desirable General Competencies * Problem solving and analytical skills–the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyses information skilfully * Creative thinking – the individual approaches situations and challenges by thinking conceptually applying new solutions and approaches which are fit for purpose and optimal * Interpersonal Skills–the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things. * Planning/organising–the individual prioritises and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. * Quality control–the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. * Adaptability–the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
