Contributes in development of DHA’s Information technology strategy and associated policies, standards, and procedures necessary to implement with strong focus on delivery of Digital services
Advise in the development of the annual budget and forecast of the Information Technology services/technical projects, evaluate and recommend specific adjustments during the implementation to satisfy project needs.
Responsible for the on-going assessment, design, development and implementation of corporate wide clinical systems with in-depth knowledge of Epic EMR and the full implementation lifecycle of Epic’s suite of EMR applications
Establish a framework for governance of enterprise IT that assists DHA realize its goals and objectives, while considering risk and optimization. Framework should cover all the basic requirements, policies, principles, processes, organizational structures, infrastructure, skills and competencies necessary to build, oversee, and manage Enterprise IT governance
Identify opportunities for process improvements, provide analysis, propose change and own the execution along with communication strategies.
Manage, track and report on the performance of IT investments to ensure they deliver optimized business benefits.
Develop status reports, perform risk analysis and inform both Business and Executive Sponsors on the status of EMR utilization and perform continuous optimization to reach the desired business benefits
Monitors and reviews the Department’s portfolio for priorities, cost, risk, and the strategic benefits to be realized
Constantly reviews and recommends smart innovation practices, monitors and reports the implementation of innovative services and solutions according to international standards in alignment with DHA’s PMO standards and practices.
Supports the director with managing the resources needed to fulfil Department’s functional responsibilities and also to build new capabilities in alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards
Coordinates with customer service, marketing departments to address customer needs and improve adoption of DHA’s services provided via different channels
Supports the director in rolling out specific sector or department initiatives and running strategic assignments, Programs and projects.
Implement and Introduce various best practices/standards in the market such as DAMA, BABOK, TOGAF, COSO, ISO, ITIL, and CoBIT
To perform other responsibilities, tasks as assigned by the Director
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration from a recognized university
Preferable: Masters/PhD degree in Business Administration with focus on Technology
Certifications in the following is required for this role
CGEIT – Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT
COBIT – Design and Implementation
Pgmp – Program Management Professional
TOGAF – The Open Group Architecture Framework
EPIC Certifications on various modules
