PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE

• Maintain ongoing research on leading international practices in education and prepare reports requested by the Education Advisor
• Provide support in the preparation of position documents on policy issues impacting Abu Dhabi’s education sector
• Support in providing accurate and timely counsel to the Chairman on key educational issues
• Provide input on recommended solutions for critical educational issues and advise on further improvement in order to support the achievement of education sector objectives
• Provide ongoing support for the development and effective execution of strategic programs (for key educational topics) in collaboration with ADEK stakeholders
• Prepare briefing documents and reports in preparation for strategic meetings held by or participated by the Chairman
• Execute strategic projects related to Chairman’s Office and oversee its implementation
• Contribute to implementing and managing ADEK’s programs and initiatives as well as follow up on the implementation of directives issued by the Chairman
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and strategic partners outside ADEK to accomplish the strategic work related to the Chairman’s Office
• Perform other tasks as requested by the Educational Advisors and the Chairman

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

Required:

• University degree or equivalent in related field
• UAE Nationals: Experience of at least 6 years in a related field (preferably in the education sector)
• Non-Nationals: Experience of at least 12 years in a related field (preferably in the education sector)

Preferred:

• Master’s degree
