The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Grade A Mechanical Engineer to join our Doha office, to play a key role in the design of some of the most exciting built environment projects in the Middle East and internationally.
Working across a variety of sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Residential, and Retail, you will work within a team of specialist engineers and technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.
You will develop new and nurture existing skills that will maximise satisfaction with our clients and ensure repeat business. The team will support you in doing this as you work your way towards gaining chartership status.
The Skills
Educated to degree level in mechanical engineer or building services engineering and having gained relevant experience in a mechanical engineering role within a building services consultancy context (ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems, fire protection etc.), you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software.
You have a solid understanding of the relevant industry codes and good practice, have experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines, and have proven ability in both overseeing and producing creative, sustainable, and intuitive design solutions.
- You also have expereince in Mechanical Design and Site Supervision.
- Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and programme management skills are essential.
- Qatar UPDA Grade A and experience of working in the Middle East is essential.

Position summary
Envision Technology Solutions designs, develops, implements, and supports innovative and strategic management software for our life sciences clients including DatavisionTM, the industry-leading publications planning software. The Delivery Excellence Jr Quality Analyst is responsible for analyzing, verifying and testing new client implementations and existing client change cycles.
Key responsibilities
• Assist in creating test plan strategy based on client deliverable and build analysis.
• Participate in review meetings with the project team to set the expectation for testing.
• Testing the application has met certain standards for each application.
• Testing the client specific profile updates based on client requirements.
• Final review of Business Requirements and workbook application testing.
• Communication of testing status and updates to the project team.
• Finalizing the product and testing documentation for sign off into production.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
Skills and experience required
• Ability to use a defect tracking system to enter and manage issues from initiation to resolution.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases/scripts from various project documentation.
• Perform a variety of testing activities including but not limited to sanity tests, integration, regression, system, performance and implementation testing.
• Execute test cases and test suites as required.
• Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) must have the ability to document issues clearly and communicate with various departments in the organization.
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables and able to complete tasks in a defined time frame.
• Requires the ability to document and configure certain aspects of the application in a team environment setting.
• Ability to work across different groups including project managers, developers, Customer Care and Help Desk specialists.
• Participate in continuous process improvement efforts in test coverage and test effectiveness.
• Respond with creative and flexible solutions in a rapidly-changing work environment while adhering to best testing practices.
• Analyze build release notes, prepare testing strategy for each client implementation
• Candidate must be flexible, proactive, persistent and self-motivated.
• Attention to detail is critical applicant must be able to clearly document testing issues
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in IT or business related field.
• 0 to 2 years work experience
• Proven communication and problem solving skills, detail-oriented
• Proven personal computer skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office Products.
• Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software.
• Ideally will have worked with testing multiple browsers.
• Defect Analysis and Reporting experience.
