We are seeking a dynamic individual to help drive the Cisco’s partner community, our #1 route to market. The primary responsibility of the Partner Account Manager is to work with Cisco’s key Partners to grow a profitable business focused on Cisco Solutions. You will develop plans that bring incremental revenue to Cisco and to the Partner in strategic focus areas. You will influence the Partners’ business transformation while developing and promoting unique Partner value propositions. The Partner AM will build awareness of the competitive landscape and educate our key Partners on strategies to position their Cisco based solutions for success against present and emerging competitors. Our most profitable partners sell complete business solutions. You will identify market trends and develop strategic plans to achieve success. You will build trust, credibility and relevance with the Partners’ sales teams to increase the number of active Partner sellers of Cisco solutions. Success will require a strong baseline of experience in customer-centric sales of Cisco solutions and the related ability to coach by example (adopting a “train, teach, position” methodology to achieve success). You should be able to work cross-functionally within Cisco and the Partner to develop ideas, share methodologies and execute strong business plans for growth.

You have 5+ years of experience working with a Partner in the Technology Industry
You bring the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, as well as the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions for Cisco and our Partners
You strive to establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with and gain confidence of multiple areas across Cisco and Partners
This role will require skills to develop a Business Plan that combines the Partners’ key initiatives and Cisco’s priorities for mutual success in the marketplace
You have strong communication, listening and presentation skills in English
You have passion, energy and excitement for the Partner Account Manager role at Cisco where you will represent the best channel approaches internally and externally.
You are diligent in your approach and ready to get yourself involved in forecasting and/or operational activities related to your role when and if need.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Individual pay is determined by the candidate’s hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
