Charterhouse is working with an established client who are looking to hire a Catering Operations Manager to manage large scale catering for a global event.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to oversee the day-to-day catering operations across multiple locations, reporting to the Project Manager you will be the hands-on face of the business on the ground.
You will be responsible for the operational delivery of non- commercial catering, ensuring the highest service level is delivered, compliances with all standard operations policies, overseeing stock rotation and keeping wastage to a minimum.
You will be required to provide on-going reports to the Project Manager in relations to budgets, inventory and progress reports.
About you
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Food and Beverage and or Catering Management, with solid experience managing catering operations at a large scale international of mega event.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in a large stadium and temporary hospitality venues. You will excel in customer service, a driven and flexible professional who excels in a busy environment.
This role requires excellent communication skills and a positive yet persistent attitude. Preference will be given to candidates with Middle East experience.

Charterhouse is working in partnership with an international organisation which provides services to the public sector, our client is looking to hire a self-motivated, professional and driven Request for Proposals (RFP) Manager to join their team in Qatar.
About the role
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a multinational organisation working in a busy deadline driven environment. This crucial role will manage the RFT process and will prepare and review commercial elements of bids to ensure all services, inputs and contributions are included prior to presenting to the customer. You will support business development activity and the achievement of high success rates by putting together commercially viable proposals which meet clients needs. This role will manage proposals across all departments of the Qatar office and will involve preparation of all commercial documentation related to RFP, Letter of Proposal and all the elements required for major tender submissions. Other key account abilities of the role include; risk-tracking and management through the process, contribution to the written proposal both in content and presentation, you will also work with senior management to coordinate and ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially robust bids.
About you
The successful candidate should have proven ability and track record to work across an organisation, with effective communication skills in a busy deadline conscious and results driven environment. You will have excellent project management and prioritization skills, with a strong attention to detail. It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent presentation and is fluent in both Arabic and English, verbal and written.
