Ahalia Hospital UAE is seeking a trained ‘Anesthesia Technologist‘ to join our facility located in Abu Dhabi-UAE.
Education/Qualifications Required:
• Two (2) years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist.
• Bachelors Degree in Anesthesia Technology
• Valid Home Country Registration
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assembles and prepares anesthesia equipment prior to surgery.
• Assembles and calibrates monitoring equipment.
• Assists the Anesthesiologists to operate monitoring equipment during surgery.
• Ensures that required drugs, supplies, and equipment are available before and during surgery.
• Prepares IV line, bloodline, central line, invasive monitoring equipment, epidural & spinal as needed.
• Prepares drugs for Anesthesiologists as prescribed.
• Prepares and positions patients for surgical procedures
• Assists the Anesthesiologist during the monitoring of patients
• Assists Physician with emergency resuscitation measures
• Performs On-Call and shift assignments
• Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
