To provide hands-on support to the IT Support team and to ensure excellent IT Support, timely resolution of IT support issues and communication to all internal IT customers in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing first/second level support for all systems, networks and application levels; providing pro-active support of IT services and solutions to the end users; and ensuring IT Support goals and objectives are met on a daily basis.
- Performing hands-on work and executing IT support operations including; installation and maintenance of all PC’s, both desktop and laptop computers, networks, systems installation, Reinstallation and upgrades, PC, Server, and OS in coordination with IT systems and network team.
- Following IT Support processes, tools and/or procedures to prevent and/or mitigate any risks and to increase and ensure productivity, quality and customer satisfaction and service of IT Support team.
- Ensuring all IT equipment is in safe and working order; whilst maintaining and ensuring the confidentiality of all employee information at all times.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Certifications: CCNA, ITIL V3 Foundation.
- 2-4 years working experience in relevant fields.
Required Proficiencies:
- OS platforms: Microsoft, Unix.
- Networking: LANs, WANs, IP, Switching.
- Hands on experience on Cisco Switches 2950 and Router 2800 series.
- Configuration of Cisco Call manager 4.x Features and Services.
- Monitoring, Optimizing and Troubleshooting Active Directory.
- Handling end user networking, hardware and software.
- Creating and managing user accounts and groups.
- Knowledge of ITIL incident, problem & change management.
- Installing and configuring computer systems using different build technologies.
- Installation and configuring Network Printers.
- Installation and configuration of IBM Servers (X series, blade servers) and Storages.
- Installation and configuration of various Operating systems (windows 2012 server R2, Windows 10).
